In order to realize the optimal flow conditions, it is mandatory to perform simulations using computational fluid dynamics. Otherwise accidentally regions of inadequate flow conditions can originate, which reduce the efficiency of the system or even set it out of action completely.
Sizes of the systems in focus here go all the way down to the micro-system-domain, representing typical dimensions below millimeter scale.
